Draft legal information
Delivery Terms of Use.
These terms are a working draft and may be updated as the delivery service and request system are completed.
1. Service availability
Delivery with Bow is a limited, independently operated Potter Service offering. Availability is not guaranteed. I may accept, decline, reschedule, or cancel requests based on safety, availability, weather, traffic, vehicle condition, item details, or other circumstances.
2. Requests are not confirmations
Submitting a form, text, message, or other request does not create a confirmed delivery. A request is confirmed only after I accept it and provide the final details.
3. Item information
The customer must provide accurate information about the item, including size, weight, condition, quantity, value, packaging, pickup instructions, and access conditions. I may refuse an item that differs materially from the information provided.
4. Prohibited and unsafe items
I will not knowingly transport illegal goods, hazardous materials, explosives, fuel, biohazards, unsecured weapons, stolen property, or any item I believe may be unsafe, unlawful, damaging, or unsuitable for my vehicle.
5. Vehicle and access limits
Items must safely fit inside the vehicle and must not block safe driving or damage the vehicle. Curbside pickup and delivery is standard unless I specifically approve additional assistance.
6. Packaging and condition
The customer or seller is responsible for suitable packaging and preparation. Fragile, valuable, loose, wet, dirty, sharp, or poorly packaged items may be refused. Existing damage should be documented before pickup.
7. Pricing and payment
Website prices are starting estimates unless stated otherwise. The final quote may reflect distance, time, traffic, waiting, size, weight, stairs, access, extra stops, or special handling. Payment is due as agreed before or at pickup.
8. Delays and cancellations
Pickup and delivery times are estimates. Delays may occur because of traffic, weather, store operations, customer access, mechanical issues, or emergencies. Cancellation fees may be introduced later and will be disclosed before they apply.
9. Customer responsibility
The customer must have authority to release and receive the item, provide lawful instructions, and ensure someone is available when required. The customer is responsible for seller agreements, store policies, receipts, and proof of purchase.
10. Updates
These draft terms may change as I finish building the service, request portal, payment system, and related policies.
